So you and your husband run the farm 1 <br />but the LLC runs the wedding events? 2 <br /> 3 <br />Kara Brewer: The Barn of Chapel Hill LLC runs the wedding events. And that’s just for liability issues. You 4 <br />have to divide it up that way. 5 <br /> 6 <br />LeAnne Brown: So, when you say you and your husband run the farm you mean Southeast Property Group 7 <br />LLC runs the farm? 8 <br /> 9 <br />Kara Brewer: Correct. 10 <br /> 11 <br />LeAnne Brown: And it’s your testimony that The Barn of Chapel Hill LLC runs the wedding events. Is that your testimony? 21 <br /> 22 <br />Kara Brewer: That’s correct. 23 <br /> 24 <br />LeAnne Brown: Alright. 15 racks of flowers, seedlings, takes up how many square feet? 25 <br /> 26 <br />Kara Brewer: I don’t know. 27 <br /> 28 <br />LeAnne Brown: No further questions. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Karen Barrows: Are we ready for closing arguments? 31 <br /> 32 <br />Matt Hughes: I do have a few questions. As you understand it in order for something to be agritourism 33 <br />that’s secondary to the primary purpose of the property. Is that right? 34 <br /> 35 <br />Kara Brewer: Yes. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Matt Hughes: So as you understand it the property that you have would be a bona fide farm because the 38 <br />agritourism is not the primary purpose of the property? 39 <br /> 40 <br />Kara Brewer: That’s correct. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Matt Hughes: And then that there’s five criteria that would constitute a bona fide farm purpose and you, 43 <br />according to statute, have met three of those five criteria? 44 <br /> 45 <br />Kara Brewer: Correct. And we’ll need a fourth once we turn in our taxes for 2016. 46 <br /> 47 <br />Matt Hughes: Now, what sort of documentation did you have to present to the North Carolina Department 48 <br />of Revenue and the USDA to receive the tax exemption certificate and the farm ID number? 49
