There’s probably going to be lots of cars parked on the 1 side on the road, parked in front of our house, and if we have a lot of traffic it might be hard for us to get in 2 and out of the driveway. The noise from the music, from the chatter of people outside, I think we’ll be able 3 to hear very clearly and of course all those vehicles going in and out of the driveway will certainly be noisy. 4 5 LeAnne Brown: Mr. Harvey, can you go back to Picture 13? So you’re worried about cars parking? You’re 6 worried that people will park along the shoulder so they don’t end up going down the drive? 7 8 Doris Ray: Yes, I think that could happen and they would be parked across the road but in front of our 9 house and stacking the cars I think would be something that could happen so people can get out when they 10 need to get out or with overflow of traffic. 11 12 LeAnne Brown: So if you had an event starting at a time your concern would be that cars waiting to get in 13 there coming in both directions would in effect keep you from getting in and out of your driveway? 14 15 Doris Ray: Exactly, yes. 16 17 LeAnne Brown: Or emergency vehicles getting into your house if somebody needed to be there? And when 18 you talk about stacking that’s what you mean? 19 20 Doris Ray: Yes. 21 22 LeAnne Brown: Are there other ways you believe that you will suffer special damages as a result? 23 24 Doris Ray: Well I think it’s taking our privacy away from us. I think that we’ve lived here 54 years but it’s a 25 quiet neighborhood. We’ve never had that much traffic, we don’t know exactly what to expect but we sit on 26 our porch a lot in the spring and fall and I Just don’t think we’ll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet that 27 we’ve had. 28 29 LeAnne Brown: Does the development of the property in this way impact the value of your property, at least 30 to you from your perspective? 31 32 Doris Ray: Well I certainly think it will. I think that not a lot of people would want to be that close to an event 33 center such as this and I’m not even sure that our children would even want to be there if we wanted to 34 leave it to them. So I just think it would definitely decrease our value. 35 36 Thomas Ray: If anything, the value of the property… I don’t intend to sell but my kids or grand kids, I’m not 37 sure they’d even want to come out there with the noise and stuff coming from it. 38 39 LeAnne Brown: Am I correct that the two of you own this piece of property together? 40 41 Thomas Ray: Yes. 42 43 LeAnne Brown: I have no other questions of the Rays’. 44 45 Andy Petesch: I just have one question Mr. and Mrs. Ray.
