And now we’re getting the 20 <br />impression that it’s really not us but the DOT that’s responsible for doing that. I’m the property o wner at 2100 Old 36 <br />Forest Drive; which is on the corner of Old Oak and Old Forest. So the road will be right along my fence 37 <br />line there. So first of all, I’m under the impression the state maintenance ends about less than 100 feet from 38 <br />the corner of Old Oak and Old Forest because that’s where the asphalt ends. I have always maintained the 39 <br />rock and grass substrate next to my lawn. I keep it mowed during the summer and I keep the rock and 40 <br />gravel at level. I know when the state first took maintenance of the Wingate sub division they push that 41 <br />snow right up to the edge of the asphalt and that’s as far as they go. So, I think that’s where state 42 <br />maintenance ends. My question is, for someone who will accept responsibility I think he says that the state 43 <br />transportation will have to do that. I can also tell you now that when, a year and a half ago, when they cut 44 <br />that timber they absolutely destroyed the culverts bringing those trucks in and out of this, just the one lane 45 <br />paved road throughout that subdivision. And this property gets saturated pretty quickly, it’s just grass. The 46 <br />rock that the timber company put down is gone and I can park my car… I do use that for parking sometimes 47 <br />because I have my daughter’s car, my wife’s car, my company vehicle and sometimes a company route 48 <br />truck out there also and during the rainy season you can’t park a car out there; even on the rock, there’s 49
