The use of the structure as a wedding and event center is not related or
incidental to the bona fide farming purposes due to the scale of the infrastructure is clearly to
support an anticipated 250 guests, wastewater and well permits, and parking. Seconded by Barry
Katz.
Karen Barrows: Why don't we just vote on this?
Barry Katz: Yes.
VOTE: 3.1 (Matt Hughes)
Karen Barrows: And you have stated your reasons, I think.
Matt Hughes: Yes.
Karen Barrows: Ok. Well we are approaching 11 o'clock. Do you want to continue Matt?
Barry Katz: I have a question, general question. Where does this go from here?
Michael Harvey: You need to direct it to James, I can't.
Barry Katz: James, the next step on this is there a next step within Orange County. Is anyone
going to listen to what we said or is this going to go back and just be superseded by the fact that
you know the law says something about farms and farm uses? Do you know?
James Bryan: All decisions by this Board are appealable to Superior Courts.
Barry Katz: Ok.
