M • The consultant and applicant indicated that the vision is to host most of the special events in doors without door activity limited to reasonable daylight hours (e.g. for portions of a ceremony). 6. Trespass and Rowdy Behavior. • Residents expressed concerns the events such as weddings attract a party atmosphere and large younger crowds that may get out of hand. They speculated that attendees will be prone to trespass, damage adjacent property and litter the adjacent properties as well as the road network(s). ® Orange County Staff noted that such concerns, while valid are not particularly under the purview of planning, zoning, land use and /or the ODO. There are, however, other state and local laws which prohibit such activity. The applicant noted that these are items of concern for any owner and to be taken seriously, if anything to protect her investment. She gave an overview of the planned terms of rental agreements and deposits. She also noted that the target market and pricing is at a level that would tend to limit the potential for excessive behavior. She also noted that staff members will be present during events and if need be other security measures would be put into place. Staff concluded the meeting with a summary of the next steps in the process. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9PM.
