MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />November 15, 2001 <br />Board of Health Minutes Transcription completed by V. Anne Miles 3 November 15, 2001 <br /> <br />Board members voiced approval of current assignments with the only changes <br />to be as a result of Board of Health elections to the Executive Committee. <br /> <br />E. Bio-terrorism Update <br /> <br />Rosemary Summers brought Board members up to date on bioterrorism <br />preparedness activities of the last month. Copies of a report from North <br />Carolina Public Health, Bioterrorism Risk Reduction and Response, were made <br />available to the Board. <br /> <br />Lee Werley suggested the Health Department look into adding the Board of <br />Pharmacy and Veterinarians to our communications database. <br /> <br />F. Possible Capital Improvement Plan Requests <br /> <br />Each year, the County budget staff asks departments to prepare anticipated <br />capital needs for the next ten years so that a capital improvement plan can be <br />developed to guide the County's expenditures. <br /> <br />Last year a one-year plan was prepared due to the anticipated bond package, <br />but th is year a full ten-year plan will be prepared. <br /> <br />An abbreviated list of requests, Capital Improvement Plan Potential Requests <br />2002 - 2012, was prepared by the staff for the Board's review. <br /> <br />VI. BOARD COMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />VII.
