MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />September 27, 2001 <br />Board of Health Minutes Transcription completed by V. Anne Miles 4 September 27, 2000 <br />B. Letters Requested by Orange County Asthma Coalition <br /> <br />The Orange County Asthma Coalition recently drafted letters to the <br />school systems and to the Town of Chapel Hill regarding indoor air <br />quality matters. The Asthma Coalition is asking the Board of Health to <br />support their efforts in these letters. <br /> <br />The letters were reviewed by the ACEH Committee of the Board. <br /> <br />Barry Jacobs suggested a modification of the letters to acknowledge the <br />positive approach being taken by the schools regarding indoor air quality. <br /> <br />Motion to support the letters drafted by the Orange County Asthma <br />Coalition by sending letters of support as modified was made by Kate <br />Wilder, seconded by Alice White and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />VIII. BOARD COMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />Rosemary Summers passed out update information to the Board members. <br /> <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion to adjourn was made by Kate Wilder, seconded by Mel Hurston, and <br />carried without dissent. <br /> <br />The next Board of Health meeting will be held on October 25, 2001 at the <br />Government Services Center in Hillsborough at 7:00 PM. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Rosemary L.
