Kenneth Taft, Lori Taft, and Jackie Taft, citizens; James Stanford, Clerk of <br />Court <br /> <br />I. Welcome and Introductions <br /> <br />Alice White called the meeting to order at 6:10 P.M. and introduced guests. <br /> <br />James Stanford, Clerk of Court, administered the Oath of Office to two new Board of Health <br />members, Christina Harlan, who is replacing Martha Stucker in the RN position, and Dr. <br />Timothy Carey, who is replacing Dr. Jonathan Klein in the physician position. <br /> <br />Alice White presented a plaque to Jonathan Klein in recognition of his years of service to the <br />Board. <br /> <br />II. Approval of September 25, 2003 Agenda <br /> <br />The motion to approve the Agenda of September 25, 2003 was made by Lee Werley, <br />seconded by Moses Carey, and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />III. Public Comment for Items NOT on Printed Agenda <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />IV. Action Items on CONSENT Agenda <br /> <br />A. Dangerous Dog Appeal: Taft Hearing <br /> <br />A dangerous dog order was issued by the Animal Control Director on August 25, 2003 <br />for a tri-colored hound mix owned by Mr. and Mrs. Taft. Mrs. Taft filed an appeal with <br />the Orange County Health Director on August 27, 2003. <br /> <br />Mr. Taft addressed the Board regarding this matter and raised concerns over the
