Orange Alamance Route Brochure 919 - 245 -2007 <br />PURPOSE: To receive an update of OPT major operational updates <br />BACKGROUND: <br />New Service: Orange County Public Transportation (OCPT) currently operates two fixed <br />routes: the Hillsborough Circulator and the Orange — Chapel Hill Connector route. OCPT <br />has been authorized to implement 3 additional bus routes: Orange Alamance Midday route, <br />the Efland Hillsborough Commuter Loop and a County wide "flexible" Fixed Route service. <br />The Orange Alamance Midday Connector is scheduled to be implemented by 30 Nov 2017. <br />Bus operators (hired as a result of recent budget approval) have successfully completed <br />new hire training and are being trained on the new routes. Marketing of the new service is <br />beginning with the release of our new route map and brochures (see Attachments 1 and 2). <br />RECOMMENDATION: The staff recommends the OUTBoard: <br />1.
