Orange Alamance Transit Sweethearts Day Flyer 919 - 245 -2007 <br />PURPOSE: To receive an update of OCPT major operational updates <br />BACKGROUND: <br />New Service: Orange County Public Transportation (OCPT) currently operates three fixed <br />routes: Hillsborough Circulator, Orange — Chapel Hill Mid -Day Connector, and Orange — <br />Alamance Mid -Day Connector. <br />The Orange — Alamance Mid -Day Connector was implemented December 18, 2017. <br />Marketing of the new service is currently being broadcast on the county -wide information <br />monitors (e.g., DSS, Public Library, OC Visitors Bureaus, Passmore and Seymour Senior <br />Centers, etc.). Transit Sweethearts Day was the initial promotional <br />advertisment for the new service at a fare free event on Monday, February 12th to celebrate <br />Valentine's Day. <br />New Web Link: .orange n nc.gov/ ransi gives Orange County residents, <br />customers and community partners a more direct link to access bus routes /schedules, <br />passenger registration details, and contact information for reservations and general <br />operational content. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The staff recommends the OUTBoard: <br />1.
