Planning Staff would like the OUTBoard to review the above orientation agenda
examples and provide input regarding what information they feel is most
relevant, and what information might need to be deleted or added. When
considering its input, OUTBoard members should keep the primary Board charge
in mind from Section 1, Part C of the adopted Rules and Procedures:
1. The OUT Board is charged with advising the Board of County
Commissioners on the planning and programming of
transportation infrastructure improvements and other County
transportation planning initiatives, as directed by the Board.
2. From time to time the OUT Board may be directed to provide
input on regulations on which the Planning Board has primary
statutory and local ordinance advisory duties. In such instances,
the OUT Board shall serve in an advisory capacity to the
Planning Board.
Additionally, Staff is considering an alternative way to deliver this information,
incrementally at the end of OUTBoard meetings later this year, rather than all at
once in a long session. Staff would provide a three -ring binder with section
separations that can be added to or revised over time.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact associated with
this item.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Staff recommends that the OUTBoard:
1. Discuss as appropriate and provide any input that the Board might have
for internal Staff consideration
76
