Minutes <br />Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau Board <br />August 21, 2002 <br />The Chapel Hill /Orange County Visitors Bureau Board met at the Siena Hotel, Chapel <br />Hill, on August 21, 2002. <br />Board Members Present: Nancy Davis <br />Pat Evans <br />Kevin Callaghan <br />Frances Dancy <br />Moses Carey, Jr. <br />Bill Crowther <br />Anne Loeb <br />Lawrence Walters <br />Sam Hobgood <br />Board Members Absent: Missy Julian -Fox <br />Creston Woods <br />Staff Present: Joe Blake <br />Betty Davis <br />Guests: Dianne Reid <br />Aaron Nelson <br />Sandy Robens <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice Chair Nancy Davis called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m. <br />INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS <br />Ms. Davis opened the board meeting by welcoming Board Members and guests. <br />Ms. Davis introduced Mr. Mark Sherburne, General Manager of the Siena Hotel. Mr. <br />Sherburne welcomed all members and guests present to the Siena and gave a brief <br />overview of updates that have taken place at the Siena over the past year. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Vice Chair Davis asked for approval of the minutes of the June 19, 2002 meeting as <br />presented. Mr. Bill Crowther made a motion to accent the minutes as presented Mr. <br />Moses Carev. Jr seconded the motion With all Board Members in agreement, the <br />motion was carried unanimously. <br />
