"Benefits" as used herein refers primarily to climate <br />mitigation, or reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Other "benefits" are briefly presented, <br />including climate adaptation and resilience, a qualitative perspective of the "co- benefits" of <br />climate action, and monetary benefits through a relatively new economic concept, "the social <br />cost of carbon ".
