Temperatures are rising, snow and rainfall
patterns are shifting, and more extreme climate events — like heavy rainstorms and
record high temperatures — are already happening. Many of these observed changes
are linked to the rising levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in our
atmosphere, caused by human activities. EPA partners with more than 40 data
contributors from various government agencies, academic institutions, and other
organizations to compile a key set of indicators related to the causes and effects of
climate change.'
11[tis report: sl[ioitidd provide yoitii witl[i aiim eiirmmirmnotiis
collectioiim of data fiiir tiise firm yoitiw classrmloan.
For a. free col.)y of ffie r,el)or,
col'.)y the [Ji .i.., tei.c w i.t:i your trow er:
][ °i a ixe e .arinte :.....c2lay 2 t6: y °!..:
er]d. c ll4 . 4 I...EPA's llll1C1i't l1i'll z4 1.]C QJj c'tors 14i'rn at
........ ..... ........ ........ ........ ........
climateindicatorsa,epa. ov:.
Source: Climate Change Indicators Team
Climate Change Division
1J.S.
