Regional Conservation Planning <br />Shaw will provide an overview of his ongoing work with various land conservation organizations <br />to develop a plan for the protection of key landscape corridors that connect significant natural <br />areas and open space in Orange, Durham, and Chatham counties. (Attachments 2 -3) <br />8:15 V. CFE Outreach Opportunities <br />Staff will review recent CFE outreach efforts (Earth Evening, news articles) and a revised list of <br />outreach opportunities for 2016 —each intended to educate /inform the public about issues <br />highlighted in the State of the Environment. CFE members will provide guidance on the use of <br />social media and using summaries of peer- reviewed articles on various topics (Attachments 4 -5) <br />8:45 VI. Committee Meetings (optional and as time allows) <br />The standing committees will review their list of priorities and next steps. (Attachment 6) <br />9:15 VII.
