it r a r) urn e 0 J' ,J: JI"li 1� ,�y" <br />RESOLUTION of APPRECIATION <br />for <br />DAVID NEAL <br />WHEREAS, David Neal served as a member of the Orange County <br />Commission for the Environment since October 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, David Neal has contributed to the discussions and initiatives of <br />the Commission during that timeframe with his thoughtful and insightful <br />points and vision, as well as serving one year as Chair; and <br />WHEREAS, David Neal's expertise and advice in the areas of environmental <br />law and alternative energy sources were critical to the Commission's work <br />and recommendations as embodied in the 2014 State of the Environment <br />report and many other reports to the Orange County Board of <br />Commissioners, and his influence will continue to be seen in future such <br />reports and initiatives; and <br />WHEREAS, David Neal illustrates and exemplifies the commitment of <br />Orange County citizens toward issues regarding climate change, green <br />energy, and the protection of our natural resources by his willingness to <br />devote time to the efforts of this commission, in addition to his other work in <br />the environmental law arena: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Commission for the <br />Environment thanks David Neal for his five years of service on the <br />Commission, invites him to continue to offer thoughts to the group in the <br />future as he desires, and wishes him well in his future endeavors. <br />This, the 8th day of February, 2016. <br />Lydia Wegman, Chair <br />Orange County Commission for the Environment <br />
