If you're riding your bike, sensors embedded in those lights will <br />soon tell you the fastest route home. <br />1 p g - sarrliing irneaSUir *s the cif. lIs liirnsl.allllliing into a growing network of <br />This is just one example o the � *ir�� *irr, <br />smart sensors embedded in streetlights, all part of Copenhagen's effort to become the first carbon - neutral <br />capital by 2025. <br />Over the next three years, cities worldwide are expected to replace 50 imillion aging strreetlights with <br />LEDs, which use 85 percent less energy than traditional bulbs and last far longer.
