Report of the Chair <br />Patsy reported that the Joint Orange Chatham Community Action Weatherization Program <br />(JOCCA) still have funds to repair homes. James Stroud stated that he had concerns from <br />residents regarding the application process for the Weatherization Program. Patsy stated he could <br />contact Doug Dixon at 919 -542 -4781. <br />Board members were asked to remind applicants to submit income documentation with their <br />application. It was noted that the department will include an advertisement on the website <br />regarding the Weatherization Program. Additional applications were available at the meeting. <br />Patsy Barbee presented Rashii Purefoy with a card from the Advisory Board for the loss of her <br />niece. <br />Department Report <br />• Presently, there are no updates regarding Whitted Forest Apartments. <br />• Club Nova Apartments are close to being transferred to Community Alternative <br />Supportive Abode (CASA). <br />• The BOCC should approve the new members at the meeting next week. One of the <br />potential members is unable to serve because she lives in Chatham County. <br />Other Business <br />The Board asked if Tara Fikes could seek information regarding foreclosures in Orange County. <br />The members were also interested in process for publishing a Call for Proposals to the County's <br />non - profit organizations for the remaining $143,558 in affordable housing bond funds. <br />The next meeting will be held on December 13, 2011 in Chapel Hill. <br />James Stroud made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Rashii Purefoy seconded the motion. <br />The motion was approved unanimously. <br />Respectfully submitted: <br />Roxanne W.
