Affordable Housing Advisory Board <br />Minutes of April 9, 2013 <br />Members Present: Jonzella Bailey- Pridham, Patsy Barbee, Katherine Doom, Andrew Shannon, <br />Arthur Sprinczeles and James Stroud <br />Members Absent: Diane Beecham and Nannie Richmond <br />Staff Present: Tara L. Fikes <br />Welcome/Introduction <br />Chair Patsy Barbee called the meeting to order. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes of February 12, 2013 were approved on a motion by James Stroud seconded by <br />Andrew Shannon. <br />BOCC Work Session Debrief <br />Board members reviewed the discussion from the Work Session with the BOCC on March 12th. <br />Items noted included: thought that Community Home Trust (CHT) discussion of current situation <br />was lengthy, there should be more collaboration with other towns in the county, invite Loryn <br />from Chapel Hill and Beth from the Town of Carrboro and revisit previous work on <br />Manufactured Housing. <br />Non - Departmental Funding Application Review <br />Board member reviewed and scored funding applications from Community Home Trust, Habitat <br />for Humanity, Rebuilding the Triangle, EmPOWERment, Inc, Housing for New Hope, and <br />Community Empowerment Fund (CEF), <br />Other Business <br />None <br />The meeting was adjourned on a motion by James Stroud seconded by Jonzella Bailey- Pridham. <br />Respectfully submitted: <br />Tara L.
