Introductions <br />Monica Richard introduced the guest presenters, Stephanie Perry and Wanda Hunter. <br />III. Presentation: Campaign for Racial Equity in Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools <br />Wanda Hunter and Stephanie Perry from the Campaign for Racial Equity in Chapel Hill- <br />Carrboro City Schools made a presentation on the inequitable treatment of students in the school <br />system. Information presented included the disproportionate execution of in- school and out of <br />school suspensions for African American and Hispanic students. It was stated that this <br />disproportionate punishment may parallel the educational achievement gap. A copy of the <br />Campaign's report and talking points are attached. <br />IV. Minutes Approval <br />Rollin made a motion to accept the Minutes for the January 2016 Minutes. Scott Goldsmith <br />seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Monica made a motion to accept the February <br />2016 Minutes. Rollin seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br />V.
