Hoake called the meeting to order at 6:30. <br /> II. Nissler moved, .brdy seconded to approve the February,2017 minutes as amended. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> III. Hoake announced that .by Saylers'sterm ends on March 31�. Many thanksto Joy for her <br /> service and valuable contributions! <br /> IV. Board Member Updates <br /> o The BOCChas approved Tarish Rpkins and Anita Millstojoin the board effective April, <br /> 2017 <br /> o Nissler reported on the work of the ad hoc board development subcommittee which <br /> met on March Yh. Albert moved, .brdy seconded to approve the committee's <br /> recommendation to ask BOOCto approve Consuelo Marshall and Helen.ones. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> o Murray asked members to consider volunteering to serve as Vice President. <br /> V. Director's F;bport <br /> o Murray asked for volunteers to serve on ajury panel at the North American Travel <br /> Journalist National Conference. Merritt and Keefe have volunteered. <br /> o The NCArts Council report was submitted on March 1�. <br /> o Murray plans to circulate electronic surveys by the end of March. Sle wil I also setup <br /> follow-up listening sessions. Murray asked that at least one board member plan to <br /> attend each listening session. Coal of the survey isto establish what are the primary <br /> challenges in the arts community. <br /> o Changes tot he OCAC grant processes were approved by the BOCICon March 7th. It was <br /> decided to meet in July for grant review. No meeting in December. <br /> o Murray will have update on possible structure changes in May. <br /> o M urray provided guidance and darification regarding the Orange County Outside <br /> Agency proposals. <br />
