Affordable Housing Advisory Board <br />Southern Human Services Center <br />2501 Homestead Rd <br />Chapel Hill, NC 27514 <br />Monday, December 14, 2015 <br />Minutes <br />Members Present: Patsy Barbee; Chair, Nannie Richmond, Tammy Jacobs, Daniel Bullock <br />and Ellie Kinnaird <br />Excused Absence: Arthur Sprinczeles, Vice Chair; Noah Oswald; Diane Beecham, Sully Jaffer, <br />and Jason O' Quinn <br />Unexcused Absence: Traci Wooten and JonZella Bailey- Pridham <br />Staff Present: Audrey Spencer - Horsley, Director and Angela Rockett, Administrative Assistant <br />Welcome /Introduction <br />Patsy Barbee, Chair called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. <br />Departmental/County Report <br />Audrey Spencer - Horsley stated the departments have been working on an Affordable <br />Housing Plan. She informed the AHAB that a draft is expected to be ready for the Board by the <br />end of January or early February. <br />Audrey Spencer - Horsley discussed 2016 work plan timeline for the AHAB. She <br />explained that the Consolidated Plan had been finalized and was a County -wide marketing <br />analysis and needs assessment. She further explained that the second report, Analysis of <br />Impediments, focused more on fair housing obstacles to fair housing choice. Audrey shared that <br />she asked the consultants summarize the Consolidated Plan and the Analysis of Impediments to <br />make the information more user friendly and that the summary would be made available when it <br />is completed. Audrey informed the AHAB that additional information that would be provided to <br />the BOCC as a part of the Affordable Housing Strategic Plan include and is not limited to the <br />following information: <br />• The bonds of 1997 and 2001 funding and projects <br />• The Home Program funding and projects. <br />• Orange County Housing Choice Voucher Program <br />
