staff and, using the Absentee voting process, will provide residents the opportunity to vote. Lead <br />time is needed and it is recommended that a facility contact them at least a month in advance of <br />an election. Committee moved to adopt a resolution with the intention of providing it to our <br />ACHs. It was suggested that we collaborate with OCSNFCAC. Committee agreed unanimously <br />with further development of the formal resolution needed before official passage. Due to <br />upcoming election in June, it was encouraged that we work on this quickly. <br />Visitation Reports <br />• Brookdale at Meadowmont (2/11/16) — approved <br />• Carol Woods (2/11/16) — approved <br />• Carillon (12/17/15) — approved <br />• Villines (12/21/15) — approved <br />• Stratford (3/23/26) — approved <br />• Crescent Green (3/23/26) — approved <br />It was suggested that it might be helpful for us to review meeting minutes of any Residents' <br />Councils. <br />Max will email us with Family Care Home assignments. <br />Other Items of Note <br />The "Death with Dignity" forum was well attended with more than 400 attendees. It was <br />videotaped and will reportedly be available for viewing. Overall, it was a big success and there <br />may be more discussions to come. <br />No one was able to represent the committee at the Orange County Commissioners work session <br />on Feb. 9, 2016. <br />Commissioners have been forwarding more applications to Max to fill openings on this board <br />and Max is conducting phone interviews. <br />Adjournment <br />Upon completion of its business, the Committee voted to adjourn at 5:15 p. m. <br />Minutes submitted by Deborah Stewart, Secretary. <br />
