Acrylic Sheet: 0.080 inch (2.03 mm) thick. <br />2. Phenolic- Backed Photopolymer Sheet: Provide light- sensitive, water -wash photopolymer <br />face layer bonded to a phenolic base layer to produce a composite sheet with overall, face <br />layer, and base -layer thicknesses, respectively, of 0.120, 0.040, and 0.080 inch (3.0, 1.0, <br />and 2.03 mm). <br />3. Laminated, Etched Photopolymer: Raised graphics with Braille 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) <br />above surface with contrasting colors as selected by Architect from manufacturer's full <br />range and laminated to acrylic back. <br />4. Edge Condition: Square cut. <br />5. Corner Condition: Square. <br />6. Mounting: Unframed. <br />a. Wall mounted with concealed anchors or two -face tape. <br />b. Manufacturer's standard anchors for substrates encountered. <br />7. Custom Paint Colors: Match Pantone color matching system. <br />8. Color: As selected by Architect from manufacturer's full range. <br />9. Tactile Characters: Characters and Grade 2 Braille raised 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) above <br />surface with contrasting colors. <br />C. Brackets: Fabricate brackets and fittings for bracket - mounted signs from extruded aluminum to <br />suit panel sign construction and mounting conditions indicated. Factory paint brackets in color <br />matching background color of panel sign. <br />D. Tactile and Braille Sign: Manufacturer's standard process for producing text and symbols <br />complying with ADA -ABA Accessibility Guidelines and with ICC /ANSI A117.1. Text shall be <br />accompanied by Grade 2 Braille. Produce precisely formed characters with square -cut edges <br />free from burrs and cut marks; Braille dots with domed or rounded shape. <br />1. Panel Material: Photopolymer. <br />2. Raised -Copy Thickness: Not less than 1/32 inch (0.8 mm). <br />E. Subsurface Copy: Apply minimum 4 -mil- (0.10 -mm -) thick vinyl copy to back face of clear <br />acrylic sheet forming panel face to produce precisely formed opaque image. Image shall be free <br />of rough edges. <br />F. Applied Vinyl: Die -cut characters from vinyl film of nominal thickness of 3 mils (0.076 mm) <br />with pressure- sensitive adhesive backing. Apply copy to exposed face of panel sign. <br />Panel Material: Opaque acrylic sheet. <br />G.
