This work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and apparatus for the <br />installation of all steel roof decking and composite floor decking with accessories indicated, <br />specified, and/or reasonably implied for a complete, first - quality job. <br />1.2 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 054000 — Cold- Formed Metal Framing <br />1.3 REFERENCE SPECIFICATIONS <br />A. "Specification for the Design of Light Gage Cold- Formed Steel Structure Members" of the <br />American Institute of Steel Construction. <br />B. "Code of Recommended Standard Practice" of the Steel Deck Institute. <br />C. Specifications and commentary for composite steel floor deck of the Steel Deck Institute. <br />D. Specifications and commentary for steel roof deck of the Steel Deck Institute. <br />E. Structural Welding Code - Sheet steel of the American Welding Society. <br />1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Installer Qualifications: Engage an experienced installer who has completed steel deck similar <br />in material, design, and extent to that indicated for this Project and with a record of successful <br />in- service performance. <br />B. Qualifications of Welding: Use qualified processes and welding operators in conformance with <br />AWS "Welder Qualification" procedures. <br />C. Testing Agency Qualifications: An independent agency qualified according to ASTM E 329 for <br />testing indicated <br />D. Fire - Test - Response Characteristics: Where indicated, provide steel deck units identical to those <br />tested for fire resistance per ASTM E 119 by a testing and inspecting agency acceptable to <br />authorities having jurisdiction. <br />1. Fire - Resistance Ratings: Indicated by design designations of applicable testing and <br />inspecting agency. <br />2.
