This Section specifies cast -in place concrete, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete materials, <br />mix design, placement procedures, and finishes. <br />B. Related Sections include the following: <br />1. Division 01, Section "Quality Requirements" for independent testing agency procedures and <br />administrative requirements. <br />2. Division 02, Section "Earthwork" for drainage fill under slabs -on- grade. <br />3. Division 03, Section "Concrete Pavement" for concrete pavement and walks. <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Design Mixes: For each concrete mix. Include alternate mix designs when characteristics of <br />materials, project conditions, weather, test results, or other circumstances warrant adjustments. <br />1. Submit in accordance with ACI 318 -08, Section 5.3. <br />B. Steel Reinforcement Shop Drawings: Details of fabrication, bending, and placement, prepared <br />according to ACI 315, "Details and Detailing of Concrete Reinforcement." Include material, grade, <br />bar schedules, stirrup spacing, bent bar diagrams, arrangement, and supports of concrete <br />reinforcement. Include special reinforcement required for openings through concrete structures. <br />1. Show all wall reinforcement in elevation. <br />C. Welding Certificates: Copies of certificates for welding procedures and personnel. <br />D. Material Certificates: Signed by manufacturers certifying that each of the following items complies <br />with requirements: <br />1. Cementitious materials and aggregates. <br />2. Form materials and form- release agents. <br />3. Steel reinforcement and reinforcement accessories. <br />4. Fiber reinforcement. <br />5. Admixtures. <br />6. Waterstops. <br />7. Curing materials. <br />8. Floor and slab treatments. <br />9. Vapor barriers. <br />E. Cold Weather Concreting: Submit description of planned protective measures. <br />F.
