VOTE: Unanimous
Motion was made by James Kramer and seconded by Bonnie Norwood to approve the minutes
dated October 18, 2006. VOTE: Unanimous
Unfinished Business
Tethering CommitteeBob Marotto reported that the clerk’s office is seeking and receiving
applications for positions on the tethering committee. A point of clarifications regarding
appointments to the committee was made: namely, that it is possible for nonresidents to be
appointed to the committee if they have expertise in an area (e.g., behavior or wellness) that is
not available from an Orange County resident. The status of the Tethering Committee was
reviewed and it was informally agreed that it was appropriate, to wait until appointments are
made so that we have a complete or nearly complete committee before convening the committee
and beginning the deliberation. Bob Marotto will followup with the Clerk’s office about the
status of the committee and confer with the ASAB at its January meeting to determine what next
steps are appropriate.
A formal motion was made by Pat Sanford and seconded by Tracy Carroll that Jean Connerat
Austin and Kristine Bergstrand be appointed as ASAB representatives of the Tethering
Committee.VOTE: Unanimous
