The outside agency funding process is a joint process with the <br />towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro. The application season begins November 1st. The <br />ASAB comes into the process in mid February and March to evaluate applications. <br />The ASAB makes recommendations to the County Manager and then the Manager <br />makes recommendations to the BOCC. <br /> <br />The County releases the application to the public on different websites and in <br />different ways. It tries to educate agencies about the process and to give them <br />enough time to finish the application. One can view the entire orientation package <br />on the Orange County website. It is important that agencies submitting applications
