2 <br /> <br />Chairman Chestnut reported that the Friends of the Chapel Hill Senior Center recently held a <br />Board retreat. Jerry Passmore reported that the Friends of the Senior Center for Central Orange <br />have agreed to pay the postage for the mailing of the Senior Times through the end of the fiscal <br />year. He also stated that Senior Care, Inc. is employing a part-time staff person to assist in the <br />absence of a Center Manager and has submitted a proposal that Carol Woods employ the <br />permanent Director through that organization. He concluded by saying that he will soon meet <br />with Assistant County Manager Gwen Harvey to discuss options for resolving the Senior Times <br />publishing crisis. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />Jerry M.
