Metrics: population, climate, farm use, etc. <br />• Environmental Impacts of these changes <br /> <br />Rural Buffer: 37,248 acres <br /> <br />Commissioner Marcoplos said there will be a commemorative celebration at Blackwood <br />Farm in the spring to recognize individuals that helped create the JPA, and give them public <br />credit. He said there will also be good food. <br />Commissioner Price asked if it is known who will plan this event, and if the signage has <br />been approved. <br />Commissioner Marcoplos said there is a JPA working group with Sally Greene, Roger <br />Waldon and planning directors. He said others are welcome. <br />Commissioner Price asked if this is a committee, and said she is not clear on who “we” <br />is. <br />Commissioner Jacobs said he and Commissioner Marcoplos proposed this idea at a <br />Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting in the fall, and the Board gave the go ahead.
