Closed Session <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs, seconded by Commissioner Rich to <br />go into closed session at 12:33 a.m. for the purposes below: <br /> <br />“To discuss the County’s position and to instruct the County Manager and County Attorney on <br />the negotiating position regarding the terms of a contract to purchase real property,” NCGS § <br />143-318.11(a)(5). <br /> <br />“To consult with an attorney employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the <br />attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the public body,” NCGS 143-318.11(a)(3) <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION <br /> <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs to <br />reconvene into regular session at 12:53 a.m. <br />
