Qdi�3 y by: •�4��sl��ws Kimlay -Horn has reviewed the trip generatic+i potenlial of the proposed Oakwood solar farm located on US 70 in Mebane, NC. The ITE Trip Generation Manual does nut provide trip generation rates for solar farms. Therefore, The trip generation was estimated Fused on the anticipated number of employees both during construction and a full bulld�ut. I)turing construction it is estimated that a maximum of 40 workers will be on site each day. Though some workers will carpool, as a worst case it is assumed that all workers arrive individually in the Aft peak hour and depart individually in the PM pear hour_ There are also anticipated to be approximately B truck deliveries per day during construction with only 1 vehicle on -site at any given lime. As a worst case, it Is assumed that 2 trucks enter and exit during each peak hour. Therefore, it is anticipated that in a worst case condition. lhere will be approximately 42 entering trips and 2 exiting trips in the A{+�+1 peak hour and 2 entering trips and 42 exiting trips in the PIVI peak hour. Upon completion the site will have no Full -time staff. There will be 1 -2 employees that will service this site once every several months. The result is that this site is expected to generate less than 1 trip per day on average. Table 1 below summarizes the anticipated trip generation of the site.
