When traveling for business in other cities, I usually travel using transit (both rail and bus) instead of taking a taxi or using ridershare services. Would you be willing to try public transit? See above. Describe the importance of transit with regards to affordable housing and land use planning: Our household has saved thousands of dollars over the ten years we've lived in Chapel Hill through our reduced use of our car and not needing to pay for parking at UNC. These types of cost savings are critical for lower- income people, which is why it's important for the community to prioritize placing affordable housing options along transit lines.
