See answer above <br />Describe the importance of transit with regards to affordable housing and land use planning. <br />It is my observation that transit planning has been an afterthought inland use planning and may be <br />addressed in the affordable housing discussion and community planning. Recently, with the increase in <br />resources for transit, it seems to be have changed to a leading rather than lagging consideration, <br />particularly for housing that is designed for low and moderate - income people.
