Heffner has requested that a Certificate of Adequate Public Schools be issued for a minor subdivision development project called Westhampton. This 19 unit, single family detached subdivision is located on the south side of Hatch Road. This request is in compliance with the Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (SAPFO), enacted in Tuly of 2.003.. The requested subdivision will have 19 single family houses. The request qualifies for a CAPS using the existing capacity and student generation rates as approved by the Orange County Commissioners. The spreadsheet used in that determination is attached. Occupancy is expected to take place during 2007, The project will genes'ate approximately seven students. As this request has been made during the 2005-2006 school year, and as the current school capacity has been approved by the County Commissioners during the 2004-2005 school year, Support Services recommends that the Board of Education award CAPS Number CH 0012 to Thomas H. Heffner for Westhampton subdivision. As occupancy is expected in the 2007-2008 school year', additional high school capacity will be available at high school #3.. Resolution: Be it, therefore, resolved that the Board of Education awards Certificate of Adequate Public Schools # CI-I 10012 to Thomas H Heffner, for Westhampton Subdivision, as described above.
