Crabtree, Deputy Fire C >ef <br />Carrboro Fire Department ~-~ <br />Re: The Orchard Subdivision <br />The fire suppression request that I made to the Orange County Fire <br />Marshall, Mike Tapp, in regard to The Orchard Subdivision review is <br />being inet. A pond has been located in the Deerfield Subdivision within <br />1-1/2 miles from The Orchard and the owners of the pond have <br />given the Town of Carrboro permission to use their pond for fire <br />suppression. They do not want a pipe intake installed but leave agreed <br />to allow us to install a sign. The developer of The Orchard is <br />having this sign prepared (plus an additional sign for another pond) <br />and the Town of Carrboro Fire Department will have it installed. <br />We have no further review comments in regard to The Orchard <br />Subdivision. <br />cc.
