The Department of Social Services has received $50,400 of additional revenue from the <br />N. C. Division of Social Services for enhanced adoption services. The funds will be used <br />to enhance agency adoption services. The adoption enhancement program helps to <br />ensure the self - sufficiency of children by recruiting and supporting adoptive families for <br />dependent children. <br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds in the Adoption <br />Enhancement Fund, outside of the General Fund, in FY2017 -18.
