Summary <br />Orange County is in the process of evaluating brokers for the ongoing evaluation and <br />placement of its insurance program and to provide Risk Management, Loss Prevention <br />and Claim consulting services. <br />The County invites proposals outlining: <br />1. Your firm's qualifications to handle the evaluation and placement of the insurance <br />program and consulting services for Orange County. <br />2. The alternatives you believe Orange County should explore in improving its <br />program. <br />3. Any unique qualities your firm brings to the table that Orange County should <br />consider. <br />Five copies of your response, and a copy of your proposal in a single pdf file on a thumb <br />drive must be submitted before 5:00 PM on October 17, 2017 to: <br />David Cannell <br />Purchasing Agent <br />Orange County Financial & Administrative Services <br />200 S. Cameron Street <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Late request, regardless of the reason, will not be accepted. Following the receipt <br />of responses, proposals will be evaluated and firms may be invited to an oral interview. <br />The current insurance program has an expiration of July 1, 2018. At this time you are <br />not authorized to approach insurers on behalf of Orange County. At the appropriate <br />time, the selected firm will be supplied with a broker of record letter. <br />Activity Target Date <br />1. Qualifications and proposals received from firms.
