Information Item — Memorandum on Agricultural Support Enterprises in the Rural <br />Buffer (Written Update — Not for Specific Discussion) <br />Perdita Holtz with Orange County Planning has provided the attached memorandum with <br />an update for the Assembly of Governments meeting on any applications for "agricultural <br />support enterprises" (ASE) uses in the Rural Buffer. During discussions that occurred in <br />2014 -15 related to amendments to the Joint Planning Area Agreement to accommodate <br />the Towns of Carrboro and Chapel Hill requests that County staff provide an annual <br />update. Orange County adopted ASE uses for the Rural Buffer on May 5, 2015. <br />Attachment 6 — November 16, 2017 Memorandum - Agricultural Support Enterprises in <br />the Rural Buffer <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no direct Social Justice Goal impact associated with the <br />discussion of these topics. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct financial impact associated with the discussion of <br />these topics.
