Nancy Coston said there are a number of services available. She said federal rules <br />have changed, and 18 year olds are allowed to voluntarily continue their involvement with DSS. <br />She said children can remain in foster care, or the equivalent funds can be used towards rent, <br />or establishment of an independent life. She said any plan is done in conjunction with the child <br />and the social worker.
