He said
GoTriangle does not want to eat into that contingency.
Commissioner Marcoplos asked if there is a point in time when GoTriangle can say it is
1% into the contingency, or not near the contingency at all, etc.
Matthew Clark said the Federal Transit Authority (FTA) requires this tracking, and there
is a program management oversight consultant that is assigned by the FTA and checks in with
GoTriangle on a monthly basis. He reviewed the changes.
Commissioner Marcoplos asked if the Board of County Commissioners could be
periodically apprised of these changes.
Matthew Clark said yes, and that GoTriangle will update the BOCC on this, and many
other items, in late January or early February 2018.
Commissioner McKee thanked GoTriangle for this additional station, as it is beneficial
for service. He said this is a major factor that will make this whole project work, if it comes to
fruition.
Chair Dorosin echoed Commissioner McKee.
