5 <br />Orange Unified Transportation Board Rules of Procedure <br />c, Three at-large members with expertise or specific interests in the <br />following areas: <br />• Bicycle transportation <br />• Pedestrian access and safety <br />• Transit <br />a. Appointed members shall serve a term of three years with initial terms <br />staggered as follows: <br />a, The following five members shall serve an initial term of one year; <br />thereafter three years: <br />• little River Township representative <br />• Bingham Township representative <br />• Chapel Hill Township representative <br />• Orange County Commission for the Environment representative <br />• Pedestrian access and safety advocate <br />b, The following four members shall serve an initial term of two years; <br />thereafter three years: <br />• Cheeks Township representative <br />• Eno Township representative <br />• Transportation Services Board representative <br />• Transit advocate <br />c, The following five members shall serve an initial term of three <br />years: <br />• Cedar Grave Township representative <br />• Hillsborough Township representative <br />• Orange County Economic Development Commission <br />representative <br />• Planning Board representative <br />• Bicycle transportation advocate <br />5, Orange Unified Transportation Board Committees (Reserved) <br />B. Attendance <br />1. Any member of the Orange Unified Transportaticn Board who misses more <br />than three consecutive meetings or more than one-half of the meetings in a <br />calendar year, for something other than an approved absence as determined <br />by the Chair, may lose their status as a member and may be replaced by the <br />BOCC. <br />
