<br />Orange County and its municipalities provide many different goods and services for their
<br />citizens with the tax dollars and fees that they collect. These are classified into several different
<br />functions including community services, public safety, human services, education, support
<br />services, and general government functions. There can be many different but related activities
<br />within each of these functions. For example, general government functions at the county level
<br />include deed registration, running elections and polling places are ensuring that votes are
<br />tabulated correctly, running the county attorney's office, etc.
