He is interested in making sure the county <br />moves forward in a nice, controlled manner rather than what he experienced up north. <br />Hunter Spitzer said he is a sophomore at UNC. He has lived in Hillsborough all his life, is interested in planning and <br />wanted to get involved. <br />AGENDA ITEM 2: INFORMATIONAL ITEMS <br />a. a) Planning Calendar for December and January <br />• January 10 — Planning Board Meeting <br />• January 23 — BOCC public hearing on this matter <br />• January 26 — BOCC retreat. Planning Board members are not required to attend. <br />AGENDA ITEM 3: APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />November 1, 2017 <br />MOTION by Paul Guthrie to approve the November 1, 2017, Regular Meeting Minutes. Seconded by Tony Blake. <br />VOTE: Unanimous <br />AGENDA ITEM 4. CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONS To AGENDA <br />No additions to the agenda. <br />AGENDA ITEM 5: PUBLIC CHARGE <br />Introduction to the Public Charge <br />The Board of County Commissioners, under the authority of North Carolina General Statute, <br />appoints the Orange County Planning Board (OCPB) to uphold the written land development laws <br />
