159 <br />the NC Department of Transportation and shall be installed in <br />conjunction with the proposed development project generating the <br />need for said alternative traffic alignment/improvement._5 <br />mod. Internal roadways within District 1 shall have right -of- - Formatt <br />way /roadways extended to serve adjacent property. s <br />Internal roadways shall be developed in accordance with <br />Section 6.10 (A) of the UDO. <br />e. -f. All streets, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, etc. shall be designated for <br />public access /use. <br />�� Driveway permit(s) shall be issued by the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation prior to the commencement of any <br />earth disturbing activity. <br />�h. The right -of -way and readway for Service Road shall be <br />extended west through District 1 to provide additional connectivity <br />to adjacent parcels. <br />Any extension of Service Road shall be constructed to NC <br />Department of Transportation public road standards.' <br />h.i. The Planning <br />Board did not perceive an issue with adding the language requested by the applicant. For more information please <br />refer to Attachment 7. <br />7 The applicant is requesting the condition be modified to only require the applicant to extend the existing right -of- <br />way to the end of the project. Construction of a new road will be addressed during site plan review of a site specific <br />development plan. The applicant has further argued connectivity will be difficult given the presence of floodplain to <br />the west of the existing road. <br />
