5 <br />Open Public Meetings Act <br /> <br />Transit Citizen Advisory Committee meetings shall be open public meetings. <br /> <br />External Communication <br /> <br />The committee is created to provide input and feedback to the Board, and not for <br />the purpose of influencing other entities. <br /> <br />The committee shall not communicate its positions and opinions to entities <br />outside the Board without notifying GoTriangle. <br /> <br />The committee shall not meet with outside entities in their official capacity unless <br />it has received prior approval by GoTriangle. <br /> <br />Compensation <br /> <br />Advisors are responsible for their own travel and meal expenses unless <br />otherwise expressly provided. <br /> <br />Adoption and Amendment to Guidelines <br /> <br />These guidelines are adopted by a majority vote of the GoTriangle Board of <br />Trustees. Amendments to these guidelines shall be made only by a majority of <br />the GoTriangle Board of Trustees. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />These guidelines are hereby adopted by the GoTriangle Board of Trustees this <br />the 30th day of October 2017. <br />7
