Throughout the years, Strateq has been involved in more than 70% of urban <br />development in The Netherlands. Mr. Rademaker is cooperating closely with several universities, such as The Hague <br />University’s program on Innovative Entrepreneurship and the Technical University Delft on a project to create a Green <br />Campus and on a program to make areas and buildings autarkic on energy, water and waste. In North Carolina, In the <br />USA Cor has closely cooperated with the School of Library Sciences at the University of North Carolina on Smart City <br />programs for students and professionals. He manages the Smart City Day at the UNC CleanTech Summit, has <br />established a Smart City Center NC and worked on a project to create Smart and Connected Communities between <br />successful cities and rural small towns. Strateq is involved in diverse Smart City Projects, such as in Rotterdam, <br />Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and The Hague, and in Rio de Janeiro, Charlotte and Austin..Cor Rademaker is chairman of the <br />National Advisory Board for Strategies for Smart Cities, and the EU SSCC Smart City Coordination Group. This includes <br />normalization of strategies, processes and technology involved in Smart Cities, resulting in a roadmap to Smart Cities. <br />Previous Cor was COO at one of the larger public transit authorities in the Netherlands, the HTM in The Hague. <br />Cor studied urban planning and urban design, mobility management, and human geography. He holds a masters of <br />engineering on urban planning and design from Tilburg, and masters of science from Rijksuniversity Utrecht and an MBA <br />from Erasmus Rotterdam. <br />Cor is innovative and ‘out of the box’, entrepreneurial, a motivating manager, result oriented, efficient and effective.
