Design will include: <br /> • Replacement of the central air handling unit and boiler system located in the basement with a new <br /> ground mounted packaged HVAC unit located exterior to the building. The existing duct system <br /> located at ceiling level in the basement will remain and will be connected to the new packaged <br /> HVAC unit. <br /> • Replacement of the existing domestic hot water heater located in the basement with a new unit <br /> located on the first or attic level of the facility. New hot water piping will be installed to connect <br /> this new heater to the existing hot water piping system. <br /> • The exiting main electrical service panel located in the basement will be replaced with a new <br /> outdoor rated main distribution panel located on the exterior of the facility. Other electrical <br /> distribution gear located in the basement will be removed from the basement and relocated if <br /> required after HVAC and electrical equipment is relocated. New wiring and conduit will be <br /> designed to connect the new switchgear to existing loads. <br /> • A new equipment yard with staggered brick enclosure similar to those at the new Justice Center <br /> and Link Building will be constructed to conceal the new exterior HVAC and electrical equipment <br /> from view in accordance with Town of Hillsborough Historic District Standards. <br /> FEE: Our lump sum fees for the scope of work identified above is Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars <br /> ($13,600.00). The milestones for billing for the project are as follows: Construction Documents 75%, <br /> Bid/Negotiate 5%,Construction Phase Administration 20%. <br /> BASIC SERVICES: The lump sum fees proposed above include the following basic services: <br /> 1. Prepare project drawings and specifications in sufficient detail to obtain regulatory approval and to <br /> receive bids. This includes presentation to the Town of Hillsborough Historical District <br /> Commission in addition to submission to the normal building inspections authorities. <br /> 2.
