EXHIBIT I <br /> DocuSign Envelope ID:5490AC8B-128E-434F-A0A3-7F2750DE4393 <br /> Scope of Work and Cost Proposal <br /> NYMIA will provide technical assistance and other support around improving the structure <br /> and execution of Orange County Housing Programs as approved by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners and implemented in the Department of Housing, Human Rights and <br /> Community Development. And finally,the NYMIA Group will provide technical assistance <br /> and other support to enhance the Section 8 Housing Choice Program. To that end,NYMIA <br /> will contribute to the following task(s): <br /> Reframe the Housing Program Offerings <br /> • Provide technical assistance and training to establish, enhance, implement and/or <br /> update program policies and procedures of funded programs to meet all compliance <br /> requirements, including review of the Administrative Plan for the Housing Choice <br /> Voucher Program, the HOME Program, and the general Housing Rehabilitation <br /> Programs, as well as associated internal operations. <br /> Summary Report <br /> • Provide summary of TA and training activities (including assessment, training and <br /> TA)the resulting outcomes, and recommendations of specific short-term, <br /> intermediate, and long-term actions that the department should take to improve their <br /> outcomes. <br /> The total amount for these services shall not exceed $22,500 for this Agreement and will be <br /> paid in three (3) installments upon completion of agreed upon tasks. A work plan detailing all <br /> tasks under the above identified scope will be developed in conjunction with the Department <br /> Director. <br /> Estimated Travel Costs <br /> In November and December 2017, we will make three (3) site visits at three (3) days <br /> each. These visits will specifically cover the Housing Choice Voucher Program. <br /> In December 2017 and January 2018, we will make three (3) site visits at two (2)days <br /> each as it relates to reframing the County's programmatic housing offerings, including <br /> the review of County surplus properties and their potential utilization for affordable <br /> housing activities. <br /> There will also be four (4) days of off-site work dedicated to the project, as well as <br /> conference call meetings as needed during the term of the agreement. <br /> Total Estimated Travel Costs: $8,000. Documentation will be submitted for each <br /> reimbursement request related to travel expenses. <br /> Total Proposed Fee: $30,500 <br /> 4 <br />
