I will serve as the primary point of contact for <br /> Grounded Engineering for the life of this p jecL <br /> PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> Based on our recent conversations and research performed thus far, I understand the following regarding the <br /> ject requirements and desired goals. <br /> • The subject project is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at 2551 Homestead Road and is identified <br /> by Orange County as PIN 9880008527. The parcel is approximately 34 acres in size according to Orange <br /> County GIS information: <br /> • The subject parcel is currently owned by Orange County. Orange County will remain the owner <br /> throughout the project: <br /> • The subject parcel currently is developed with multiple buildings that are used by Orange County. The <br /> Seymour Center is located at the northeast corner of the property, the Orange County Health <br /> Department is located at the south end of the property and the Inier-Faith Council Project Home3tortb <br /> located at the northwest corner of the property. The Seymour Center and Orange County Health <br /> Department are access via a shared internal roadway that has a single point of access to Homestead <br /> Road, The Inter-Faith Council site has a separate driveway connection to Homestead Road; <br /> o In review of the County's masterplan concept, Phase 1 will include the relocation of the existing <br /> stormwater pond located near the entrance driveway, the realignment of the entrance roadway to <br /> remove some ot the curvature, the expansion of the existing parking lot supporting the Seymour Center <br /> and the extension of a lO^ wide multi-purpose pathway from the Inter-Faith Council Project Home Start <br /> driveway to the eastern parcel property line.
